In other news, I went to see The Hold Steady and The Thermals on Saturday night at the Newport Music Hall. Both bands rocked righteously and a good time was had by all. My only beef is with the night clubs in this town. Can we all agree on when shows start? I figured getting there at 8:15 would still give me plenty of time to mill around and have a beer. Nope. I missed about the first three songs of the Thermal's set. At least I didn't miss "Pillar of Salt".
